The Concept to NTS TournaMAXX and How To Win: Nebraska Technical Services, Omaha's leader in coin-op entertainment services, now facilitates monthly Merit Megatouch TournaMAXX tournaments, otherwise known as NTS TournaMAXX tournaments.
To win valuable prizes all one must do is use skill and reasoning to jostle their way to a pre-assigned prize winning position. If at the end of the tournament a player accomplishes being ranked in a prize winning position, that player wins the prize associated to the position.
(HINT: Because scores are refreshed daily regularly check your ranking.)
How To Enter: Registering with NTS TournaMAXX tournaments is easy and FREE to do. First time NTS TournaMAXX players will be required to enter their information into the new player profile and will be prompted by the screens as they scroll forward, this will take a minute or so. Previously registered players will be asked to enter their screen name and PIN only, or swipe their Merit player key.
Once a person is entered into the NTS Tournamaxx tournament, the player selects the tournament game and play begins.
Overview of Tournament Play: To optimize participation in NTS TournaMAXX tournaments, players require playing a minimum of five tournament games to obtain the highest average score. Upon completion of these initial five games, players' average scores will be continuously updated using their five best scores. The players' averages can never go down! The more times a player posts a score in the tournament, the higher the probability of a higher average score.
Tournament Schedules: Tournaments start exactly at 8 PM CST on the tenth (10th) of each month and ends exactly at 7 PM CST the tenth (10th) of each month. At the end of the tournament, the games will be polled and the information gathered to determine the tournament winners. Final results are typically displayed within seventy-two (72) hours of tournament closure, however if the seventy-two hours falls on a weekend or holiday, winners are announced FIRST BUSINESS DAY 72 HOURS AFTER THE END OF THE TOURNAMENT. All winners’ screen names will be displayed on the game's video poster accesable by touching the Tournamaxx icon then touching "Announcements", or by visiting this web site.
Tiebreaker: In the event of a tie in a player's top five (5) event score average, then the highest single event game score will determine the higher position. If still tied the next highest single event game scores will be used until a winner is determined.
Prize Claims: All prizes are to be picked up at the Nebraska Technical Services office located at 7812 1/2 "F" Street. NTS will provide to winning players, all necessary claim forms and tax forms when applicable. Players must completely and accurately fill out all necessary forms to be awarded the associated prize. Additionally, winning players must provide a state or federally issued photo identification when submitting prize claim forms. Winners will be solely responsible for any taxes or fees associated with winning a prize.
Disclaimer: The use of inappropriate language by the player when registering on the tournament shall be grounds for immediate disqualification. Employees and direct family of Merit Industries, Inc. and Nebraska Technical Services are ineligible for any tournament competition. Game malfunctions or connection to the tournament by unauthorized equipment shall immediately void all scores earned on that game.
